De Anza Extended Year Summer College for Kids and Teens is a summer enrichment program where the focus is on teaching and learning, not grades and exams. The program operates at three locations for easy access, is four weeks in length and is offered in the morning hours.
Extended Year is designed for students entering 1st through 10th grades: classes are for students who are performing academically at or above grade level. Our credentialed instructors come from local colleges, universities, public and private high schools, middle and elementary school districts throughout California. Our instructors possess substantial subject matter expertise and are well versed in the needs of the specific age group they instruct. We serve students from all over the Bay Area.
We also partner with the De Anza College Euphrat Museum of Art to provide a selection of fine arts classes taught by working artists with Master's Degrees in Fine Arts. Large numbers of students return to us each summer, knowing they will have an enjoyable and exceptional educational experience.
